Read More	Daily Astorian, The (Astoria, OR) July 18, 2002 Deceased Name: John Ernest "Jack" Patzer John Ernest "Jack" Patzer Trailer park owner, 70 John Ernest "Jack" Patzer, 70, of Naselle, Washington, died Monday, July 15, 2002, at his Naselle residence. Mr. Patzer was born February 6, 1932, in Duluth, Minnesota, to John L. and Verna Irene Anderson Patzer. He grew up in Duluth and the surrounding area, where he received his education and worked on farms. In the early 1950s, he was a merchant seaman on the Great Lakes. While passing through Naselle on a fishing trip in 1981, he happened upon the Naselle Trailer Park and his future wife. On April 1, 1982, he married Phyllis Andring, who was owner of the Naselle Trailer Park. Following her death in 1996, Mr. Patzer continued to operate the trailer park. He was a member of Grays River Grange No. 124 and active with the Rosburg Senior Citizens. Family members say he enjoyed senior activities, yard sales, and hunting and trout fishing in his younger years. During the summer, he picked berries and fruit which he shared with family and friends. He always enjoyed morning coffee with his Naselle friends, and will be remembered for his generosity and big heart. He is survived by two brothers, Dan Patzer of Naselle, Washington and Conrad Patzer of Gordon, Wisconsin; and four sisters, Eleanor Rossiter of Saginaw, Minnesota, Maxine Jordahl, Mary DeMars and Darlene Luhm, all of Duluth, Minnesota. A sister, Ivy, died earlier. Funeral service was Saturday at Penttila's Chapel by the Sea, Long Beach, Washington. A reception follows at the chapel. Graveside service was Monday at the Ridgefield Cemetery, Ridgefield, Wash.
