Description	:	John “Bud” Wall Jr., age 93, of Watertown, SD, was called home to be with the Lord, and his wife, Nadine on June 11, 2016 at Jenkins Living Center. John Francis “Bud” was born January 31, 1923 to John Francis and Jennie Luvina (O’Neal) Wall on a little farm near Waverly, South Dakota. Bud served in the U.S. Navy from 1940-1946. Read More	John “Bud” Wall Jr., age 93, of Watertown, SD, was called home to be with the Lord, and his wife, Nadine on June 11, 2016 at Jenkins Living Center. John Francis “Bud” was born January 31, 1923 to John Francis and Jennie Luvina (O’Neal) Wall on a little farm near Waverly, South Dakota. Bud served in the U.S. Navy from 1940-1946. He married Nadine on September 23, 1947 and they lived in Des Moines where Bud was employed by Look Magazine as a maintenance director. Moving to Watertown, South Dakota in 1952, Bud worked for Swift and Company until 1957, when he went to work for Owen and Son’s Painting. In 1962 he started at Memorial Hospital where he was employed for 17 years. In 1982, he was employed by the Watertown Multi-District until he retired due to an injury 1998. Bud was a member of Knights of Columbus Local Council 859 and had attained the level of 4th Degree Knight. During his retirement he volunteered at Immaculate Conception School as a foster grandparent and enjoyed spending time at Jenkins Living Center, working on crosswords, putting 500 plus puzzles together, and art projects such as drawing and painting. Grateful for having shared in his life are his sons, John (Pam) Wall III of Mequon, WI, Douglas Wall of Watertown, SD, Brian Wall of Mequon, WI and Dana Wall of Mequon, WI; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine in 2004; his parents, John and Jennie; and his five siblings, Helen, Stella, Francis, George and Bill. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m., with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Wight and Comes Funeral Chapel. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown with Father Paul Rutten officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery with Military Honors by U.S. Navy Funeral Honors Team and the Vietnam Veterans of America of NESD Chapter 1054. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bud’s grandchildren, Ian, Eric, Wade, Nicole, Alex, Molly and Macy Wall. - Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel
