Description	:	John F . Mollhoff, 80, Hawarden, died Tuesday, September 30, at a Hawarden Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the First Methodist Church at Hawarden with Rev. G. S. Bruland officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Akron, under direction of the Dow Funeral Home, Hawarden. He was born September 5, 1890, at Monticello. He moved to the Hawarden area in 1915. He farmed, carried mail from the railroad station to the post office for 25 years and was custodian of the Hawarden Associated church for about 10 years. Survivors are his wife, now at an Alcester , S.D., nursing home; a brother, William of Hawarden; two sisters, Mrs. John Hartman of Alcester and Mrs. Mary Brownmiller of Akron and a step daughter, Mrs. Helen Schurman of Hawarden
