Description	:	JOHN G. VAN ROEKEL Funeral services for John G. Van Roekel of Sioux Center were held Wednesday afternoon at the home and at the First Reformed church with Rev. H. Colenbrander of Orange City officiating. Pall bearers were Mr. Van Roekel's six sons. Burial was in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery and arrangements were under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Service of Sioux Center. Mr. John G. Mr. Van Roekel was united in marriage to Sarah Te Grotenhuis on February 10, 1915 and to this union six sons were born, Gershom of Hull; Warren of Hull; Clinton of George; Merle at home, Rev. James of Erie, Ill., and Arlin Duane also at home. Besides his wife he is further survived by 13 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Christine, Mrs. Neal Kuyper; Otto Van Roekel and Dr. Henry Van Roekel.
