Description	:	John H Arps, who has been living alone on the homestead of his son, Ben Arps, who was recently killed in action with the American forces in France, committed suicide by shooting himself last Friday. Brooding over the death of his son is assigned as the cause of his rash act. Mr Arps was born 12 Jun 1865 at Okolona, OH, where he was married to Dora Haase on 2 Jan 1890.
