Description	:	Obit - 2 Feb 1910 WR (Poweshiek Co, IA) John Hall was born in County Teron (Tyrone), Ireland, 28 Dec 1829, where he spent his childhood days. When a lad in his teens he moved with his parents to County, Furmena (Fermanagh) where he grew to manhood. He was united in marriage to Eliza McKeever in the year 1854. To this union 6 children were born, Mary Jane. Maggie & Eliza in Ireland & Susan, Samuel & Rachel in this country. Read More	Obit - 2 Feb 1910 WR (Poweshiek Co, IA) John Hall was born in County Teron (Tyrone), Ireland, 28 Dec 1829, where he spent his childhood days. When a lad in his teens he moved with his parents to County, Furmena (Fermanagh) where he grew to manhood. He was united in marriage to Eliza McKeever in the year 1854. To this union 6 children were born, Mary Jane. Maggie & Eliza in Ireland & Susan, Samuel & Rachel in this country. In 1861 with his family he came to the United States, locating in Rock Island, IL. From there he moved to this county where he lived on a farm northeast of Montezuma. At the homestead his wife died some twelve years ago. Since that time until recently he made his home with his son, Samuel, with vists among his daughters. Last fall he went to the home of his daughter, Mrs Robinson (Robson), in IL, where he died of heart failure, 29 Jan 1910, being at the time of his death a month over 80 years of age. He was baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal Church in Ireland and was a regular attendant upon its services whenever the church of his choice could be found. The body came in on the Rock Island passenger at noon yesterday and the funeral occurred at the Presbyterian Church at 2:00 o'clock conducted by Rev George Cleaver. Internment at the I.O.O.F.
