MISKIMINS John Harrison Miskimins, son of George and Ella Harris Miskimins, was born near Cambria, Iowa March 17, 1889, and passed away at the Wayne County Hospital April 24, 1961, at the age of 72 years, one month and seven days. He was united in marriage to Eliza Snook March 24, 1910. They spent their entire married life in Lucas and Wayne counties and moved to the Allerton community in 1944, where he was an active member of the Baptist church. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in March, 1960. Harry followed in the footsteps of his father as a horse buyer and farmer. Surviving are his wife, Eliza, three daughters: Mrs. Dean (Wilda) Wilcox of Burley, Idaho; Mrs. Clifford (Wilma) Sutton of Declo, Idaho; Mrs. Artie (Lois) Partridge of Allerton; and two sons, Lyle of Allerton and Dr. Radean of Kimball, S.D. He also leaves 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. John Schreck of Chariton. A son, Daryl, died at birth. Two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Lula) Parks and Mrs. Warren (Cora) Ryan, and a brother, Frank, also preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 27, at 2 p.m., at the Randolph Funeral Home in Allerton with the Rev. James Kirtley and the Rev. Daniel Bean officiating. Burial was in the Cambria cemetery.
