Description	:	John Hefner, 77, of 402 N. Nixon, died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday in the residence. Born in Allen County Aug. 18, 1895, he was the son of Henry and Hannah Catherine Highline Hefner. His wife, the former Zelma McComb, died in 1955. Mr. Hefner, a veteran of World War I, was a representative for Prudential Insurance Co. until 1934, a 25-year employe of Timmerman Coal Co. and a salesman at Star Carpet. Cool Rd. and Mrs. Robert (Esther) Willeke of Clearwater, Fla.; two brothers, Arthur of 3890 Harding Hwy. and Gilbert of 618 S. Dana; 26 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Siferd Westwood Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
