The deceased had been failing for several months, and was therefore not in a condition to withstand the ravages of the acute disease. Mr. Antons was born in the Province of Hanover, Germany, in 1830, and was therefore seventy-eight years old. The deceased had been failing for several months, and was therefore not in a condition to withstand the ravages of the acute disease. Mr. Antons was born in the Province of Hanover, Germany, in 1830, and was therefore seventy-eight years old. He came to the United States with his family about the year 1881, and lived in Wayne township several years. During the past sixteen years he had lived in Scotch Grove township, near Center Junction. He is survived by his wife and the following named children: John Antons, Sophia Stahlberg, Gerhard Antons, of Scotch Grove township, Henry Antons of Ryan, Catherine Teten of Laurel, Nebraska, and Anna Radloff, who lives near Wyoming. The deceased was highly respected, and he left many friends and neighbors who will long mourn his demise. He was a member of the German Lutheran church of Scotch Grove township of which Mr. C. Mardorf is minister. The funeral will be held tomorrow.
