Description	:	DIES VERY SUDDENLY John Henry Kendall died very suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. J. Edenfield in the north part of Villisca, Tuesday evening about five o’clock. He and Mrs. Edenfield were alone at the home at the time and he was sitting in a chair in the yard and seemed in his usual good spirits. Mrs. Edenfield, who was with him, went to the rear of the house for a short time and when she returned found her father dead. John Henry Kendall was born February 14, 1833 and died July 20,1914, at the age fo 81 years, 5 months, and 7 days. He was born and reared in Ohio and moved from that state to Union County, Iowa shortly after his marriage. From Union County he moved to Villisca about fifteen years ago and moved to Hawleyville, near where he resided on a farm until the death of his wife in 1907. He had been living in Villisca with his daughter since that time. The deceased is survived by two sons and two daughters. They are: Benjamin F. Kendall of Hawleyville; J. H. Kendall of Council Bluffs; Mrs. James Rail of Omaha, and Mrs. W. J. Edenfield of this city. The funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the Edenfield home conducted by Elver S. H. Coleman of the Adventist Church. Interment will be in the Villisca Cemetery by the side of his wife. His sons and daughter are expected at the funeral services and three granddaughter, Mesdames Roy Watson, E. G. Kensey, and L. W.
