His wife of 65 years, Iva Ellen (Munday) Casto, brothers, Loren, Ernie, Owen and Kenna Casto, and sisters, Macil Parsons, Elsie Parsons and Ethel Staats also preceded him in death. He was born March 30, 1912, at Belgrove, WV, a son of the late John Lightburn and Lavina Jane Casto. His wife of 65 years, Iva Ellen (Munday) Casto, brothers, Loren, Ernie, Owen and Kenna Casto, and sisters, Macil Parsons, Elsie Parsons and Ethel Staats also preceded him in death. He was a mail carrier for 30 years and a lifelong farmer. He was a proud member of Plainview Baptist Church, where he served as Superintendent, class leader and assistant Sunday school teacher. He loved playing music and singing for the Lord. Survivors include his sons, Jerry Casto, and Gary Casto of Kenna; daughters, Betty Jo Moore, Dottie and Rudy Brown, and Cathy and Kevin Canterbury, all of Kenna; sister, Opal Litton of Birmingham AL; many extended family generations.
