Description	:	Mrs. Lavina Jane Casto, 93, died at her home at Ripley Saturday night [2 Apr 1966]. She was born at Belgrove, daughter of the late George W. and Elmira Slaughter Casto, and was a member of the Falling Water EUB Church, Belgrove. Five sons survive; Kenna K. Casto, Nitro, Owen and Hoyt Casto, both of Belgrove, Ernie and Loren Casto, both of Ripley and four daughters, Mrs. Elsie Parsons , Ripley, Mrs. Macel Parsons, Charleston, Mrs. Ethel Staats of Ravenswood, and Mrs. Opal Litton of Gay.
