Description	:	John J. "Jack" Sarbaum, age 70, of Federal Way, WA, formerly of Marion, ND passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 25, 2003, in a Federal Way hospital. Jack was born in Greenland Township, Barnes County of North Dakota on June 15, 1932, to Fred and Ann (Sperger) Sarbaum. He was raised on the family farm and attended the Greenland School. He graduated in 1950 from the Marion, ND High School. He attended NDSU-Bottineau. Jack then worked for Frederick's Floral in Fargo for a number of years. Jack was born in Greenland Township, Barnes County of North Dakota on June 15, 1932, to Fred and Ann (Sperger) Sarbaum. He was raised on the family farm and attended the Greenland School. He graduated in 1950 from the Marion, ND High School. He attended NDSU-Bottineau. Jack then worked for Frederick's Floral in Fargo for a number of years. He later moved to Seattle, WA, where he co-owned and operated The Scarlet Boutonniere until his retirement in 1998. He was married to Inez Crews on January 17, 1953. They were later divorced. Jack is survived by two sons and a daughter, Blaine of Montana, Claude of Idaho, and Lynn (Jerry) Shuffield of Emmitt, ID, a brother, Robert (Myrna) of Jamestown, ND, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his long-time business partner and friend George Masck. Memorial services will be held on June 18, 2003, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Marion, ND, at 10:30 am with interment at St. Francis Cemetery, Marion.
