Description	:	John J. Price Dies At His Home Here John J. Price, 88 resident of York county for 65 years, passed away at his home, 507 Burlington Ave., Thursday evening at 6:45. He has been in failing health for several months. Born at Lewiston, Niagara Co., New York, on August 22, 1855. Mr. Price moved to Bath, Michigan, with his family when he was 11 years of age. Price Dies At His Home Here John J. Price, 88 resident of York county for 65 years, passed away at his home, 507 Burlington Ave., Thursday evening at 6:45. He has been in failing health for several months. Born at Lewiston, Niagara Co., New York, on August 22, 1855. Mr. Price moved to Bath, Michigan, with his family when he was 11 years of age. Six years later he and his twin brother, the late Martin Price of York, went to the lumber camps at Saginaw, Mich., where they worked until 1878 when they came to Nebraska and settled near Waco. He married Mary Ann McGowan about 1880. John Price retired from the farm in 1910 and moved to York to make his home. Mrs. Price died in 1906. Also preceding him in death were two sons, Arthur and George. The last of his family, Mr. Price is survived by six daughters, Mrs. J. P Mary Cunningham , Kate Kaspari, Gertrude Johnson, Anne Price all of York, and Mrs. J. S. Nellie Manion of Madison, Wisconsin and Mrs. F.L. Ada Wochner of Wood River, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at St. Joseph’s Catholic church, but the hour of the funeral mass has not yet been set. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery east of York.
