On February 22, 1916 he married Elizabeth Schueth at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey. After his marriage, Mr. Gentleman, farmed in Boone and Merrick counties until 1927 when he and his wife moved to Silver Creek. Mrs. Gentleman died November 18, 1951. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Ward Beebe, Omaha; three sons, Charles and James of Silver Creek and Edward of Omaha; one brother Edward of North Platte and five grandchildren."
