On July 4th, 1916, he was united in marriage to Miss Effie Murphy of Page county, in the city of Clarinda. Mr and Mrs Krucker have lived in Page and surrounding counties continuously since their marriage. He has followed the life of a farmer with its joys and sorrows. His faithful and devoted wife has tenderly cared for him in his last illness which lasted more than a year. His death, although not unexpected, came suddenly April 22. He leaves his faithful wife, his aged mother of Lamoni, Ia, an aunt, two brothers, E.C. Krucker of Hamburg and Victor L. of Miami, Okla, and other relatives. His father and his sister, Louise, passed away several years ago. John Krucker was possessed of a cheerful disposition and has many true friends who mourn his passing. Funeral services were held at the Walker Funral Home on Saturday, April 24, at 2 pm with Rev W.H. Meredith in charge. He was laid to rest in the North Grove cemetery. Pallbearers were Logan Milligan, Beryle Bentley, Robert Sanders, Dan McCoy, Ralph Hibbs, Sherm Bentley.
