The Scottsville, Ky native was a employee of Dollar General Corporation. He was a son of the late John Kelly Frost and Josie Clyde Loyd Frost and husband of the late Hallie Josephine Mahaney Frost. He is survived by 4 step sons: Roger Pardue and wife, Linda; Danny Pardue and wife, Jimmie; Junior Pardue and wife, Donna and Glen Pardue, all of Scottsville, Ky; 1 step daughter: Betty Ogles and husband, Ennis, Scottsville, Ky; 2 brothers: Harold Wayne Frost and wife, Libby and Phillip Gordon Frost and wife, Marlene, all of Scottsville, Ky; 2 sisters: Dixie Williams, Bowling Green, Ky and Frances Hammer and husband, Cleedus, Fairdale, Ky; 7 step grandchildren: Gary Ogles, Sue Spicer, Bobbie Sue Helderman, Leeann Whitman, Amanda Pardue, Stephanie Pardue and Justin Pardue; 9 step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Billy Gene Frost. Funeral services for John K. Frost will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2011 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Owen Minix officiating and burial in Hickory Hill Cemetery. ------John Frost Jr. was a nice man and really cared alot for his sisters Dixie and Frances. He always tried to help people when/if he could. He liked to watch old Westerns and visit his sister Dixie. He was a dedicated and hard worker, working far into older age at Dollar General corp. He lived in Scottsville and was really close to several people. He died the same year as his nephew Ronnie Williams. His sister Dixie is still living and his brother Harold is also (Harold's wife Libby is also living). Jr. as he was known to friends and family has made a memorable impact in alot of lives and was known to have lots of friends and people that cared about him. He stayed at Dixie's home in Bowling Green the last few months of his life, as she helped to take care of him, he wanted to attend his nephew Ronnie's funeral but was unable due to illness. Jr. passed away and is buried in Allen County, the place he thought of always as his home.
