Description	:	John Lienemann Dies Unexpectedly Sunday John Lienemann, 69, of Adams, passed away unexpectedly at his home Sunday evening. He had been in poor health for some time. He was born September 17, 1902, at rural Adams. He lived on a farm near Adams all of his life until he retired as a farmer three years ago and moved to Adams. Read More	John Lienemann Dies Unexpectedly Sunday John Lienemann, 69, of Adams, passed away unexpectedly at his home Sunday evening. He had been in poor health for some time. He was born September 17, 1902, at rural Adams. He lived on a farm near Adams all of his life until he retired as a farmer three years ago and moved to Adams. He was a charter member of the Adams American Lutheran Church and was on the Church Council for three years. He was a member of the rural school board for many years and he had worked for the ASC for 10 years. Survivors include his wife, Lena; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Virginia) Harms, Pickrell; Vivian Lienemann of Beatrice ;one son, Virgil of Osceola; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Fred of Beatrice and Erunke of Sheridan, Wyo., two sisters, Mrs. Grace Meints of Beatrice and Mrs. Kathryn Sanders of San Bernadino, Calif.; and one half-sister, Mrs. Hick Baumfalk of Beatrice. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, and one half sister. Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Adams American Lutheran Church with the Pastor Ray B. Ensign officiating. Mrs. Lorin Oosting, was organist and Wayne VanEngen soloist. A family prayer service was held at the Church Parish Hall at 1:45. Pallbearers were: Harvey Podtburg, Albert Siefkes, Gwyn Wingate, Harman Nieveen, Thees Baehr and Howard Bigelow. Burial was in Highland Cemetery. A memorial has been established with Meine Schmidt and Lorin Oosting in charge. Adams Weekly Globe January 13, 1972 p.1
