Description	:	MILLS, JOHN—John Mills passed away at his home at 833 Pine Street, Omaha, Tuesday, May 12, 1931, aged 76 years, 1 month, and 29 days. He had been in ill health for a long time. Mr. Mills was born at Toronto, Canada, March 13, 1855. He came to Fillmore county in the early day and was in the hardware business in Grafton and Geneva. Read More	MILLS, JOHN—John Mills passed away at his home at 833 Pine Street, Omaha, Tuesday, May 12, 1931, aged 76 years, 1 month, and 29 days. He had been in ill health for a long time. Mr. Mills was born at Toronto, Canada, March 13, 1855. He came to Fillmore county in the early day and was in the hardware business in Grafton and Geneva. Later for a good many years he was employed in various county offices and he conducted a real estate and insurance business in Geneva. The family moved to Omaha seventeen years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Mills celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last July. Mr. Mills was a member of Geneva lodge No. 79, A. F. & A. M., being the oldest active member of the lodge. He was also a member of the Masonic Veterans' association of Omaha. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Maud Bentley of Los Angeles, Mrs. Irma Miller of Goffs, Cal., and Mrs. Viva Patterson of Omaha, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; also a sister living in Milwaukee. Three children preceded him in death, a son Oakley, and two daughters, Gretchen and Mrs. Cora Worth. The body arrived at Geneva Friday, accompanied by Mrs. Mills, Mrs. Miller, and Mrs. Patterson. The funeral was conducted at the Hrubesky funeral parlors with Rev. H. C. Capsey of the Methodist church officiating. Interment was in the family lot in the Geneva cemetery.
