Description	:	"BROADUS -- John Percy Marston, longtime Powder River County resident, served as postmaster and operated a store and gas station in Powderville from 1937 to 1941, then was postmaster and store-keeper in Epsie until he retired in 1952. He died Friday in Holy Rosary Hospital, Miles City, at age 97. Born in England, he apprenticed in the wholesale grocery business there before coming to the United States in 1901. He moved to the Powderville area in 1902 and was in the cattle business until 1934. In 1975 he moved to Broadus. His first wife, the former Louisa Reynolds, died in 1937. In April 1939, he married Gladys Irion. Survivors include the widow; a son, Doug, of Hardin; two daughters, Mrs. Arnold Falkenstern Terry and Mrs. Charles Barbero of Boyes; and a number of grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Powder River Congregational Church. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery with J. E. Graves Funeral Home of Miles City in charge."
