Description	:	Santa Fe Worker Dies After Injury Funeral services form John Peter Boos, 50, of 517 Wilson, are to be held Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church, with burial in the Mount Calvary Cemetery under the direction of the Brennan Funeral Home. Mr. Boos died unexpectedly at 11 a.m. Wednesday while working in the Santa Fe yards. He was employed by the storehouse department of the railroad. Leo Boos, a brother-in-law, reported Mr. Boos was accidentally struck in the head by a piece of wood shortly before he died but that it was not established whether that was the cause of death. An examination was held, after which Dr. Donald Macrae, county medical examiner, said the death was caused by a brain condition. Rosaries will be recited at 7:30 p.m. by council no. 534 of the Knights of Columbus, and at 8 p.m. Friday by council no. 2608 of the Knights of Columbus. Parish Rosaries will be said at 8:30 p.m. Friday. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Catherine Boos, of the home; a son, Donald George Boos, of the Navy at Quonset Point, R.I.; two daughters, Mrs. Frieda Schmidtlein of 708 Chester and Miss Wanda Boos, of the home; his mother, Mrs. Catherine Boos of Schoenchen, Kan.; four brothers, Henry, Joe, and Al Boos, all of Hays, and Paul Boos of Washington state; five sisters, Mrs. Catherine Sanders, Mrs. Mary Ruder, and Mrs. Paul Bieker, all of Hays, Mrs. Elizabeth Bieker of Leoti, and Mrs. Josephine Weingardt of Pratt.
