She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Altar Society at the church, Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle No. 503, and St. Francis Hospital auxiliary. She married John P. Boos on Nov. 8, 1927, in Schoenchen in Ellis County. He died Sept. 17, 1952. Survivors include a son, Donald G. Boos, Olathe; two daughters, Frieda Schmidtlein, Topeka, and Wanda Jean Guth, Santa Rosa, Calif.; a brother, Leo Boos, Topeka; three sisters, Rosie Stattelman and Margaret Magistro, both in Topeka, and Adelaide Leonarduzzi, Milwaukee, Wis.; 12 grand-children; and 33 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Boos will lie in state after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church, where rosaries will be recited by the Altar Society at 4:30 p.m., by Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle No. 503 at 6 p.m., and by the parish at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 312 Freeman, 66616. Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
