Description	:	Luxembourg baptismal records state from Junglinster John Peter Heiar J. P. Heiar died at his residence one mile south of Cottonville last Wednesday evening. The deceased had been in failing health for several months and was a patient sufferer until he was called to receive his reward. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haiar and was born 65 years ago last January at Momer, Germany. Read More	Luxembourg baptismal records state from Junglinster John Peter Heiar J. P. Heiar died at his residence one mile south of Cottonville last Wednesday evening. The deceased had been in failing health for several months and was a patient sufferer until he was called to receive his reward. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haiar and was born 65 years ago last January at Momer, Germany. When about nineteen he came to America and settled at once at St. Donatus, where he married Miss Anna Gross and engaged in farming. Funeral services and internment took place at the Holy Rosary parish last Saturday. A solemn requiem took place in which Rev. Father Friedman was celebrant and Rev. Father Vallaster of St Donatus acted as deacon and Rev. Father Mullen of St. Theresa as sub-deacon. After services the large audience listened to an appropriate sermon preached by Rev. Father Friedman. The deceased leaves to mourn four sons, Nicholas, Herman and Clemens at home, John of near Springbrook, also three daughters, Mrs. Henry Arensdorf of Springbrook, Mrs. N. A. Hingtgen of near Bellevue, and Miss Mary at home; and his brothers Nicholas of St Donatus, Nicholas, Jr., of Bellevue and one sister. The pall bearers were Patrick Sheehan, James Malone, William Dunn, Anton Thill, Anton Thola and Daniel Gleason, Out of town attendants at the funeral were Mr. And Mrs. J. N. Haiar, Peter Sprank, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Haiar of Springbrook; Henry, Lanhart and Peter Beckius and the latter’s two sons of Dubuque; Mrs. Elizabeth Seiler and daughter of Nebraska, who have been visiting in the Haiar home
