Description	:	Son of Thomas & Mary (Skorupa) Podraza. Married to Katherine Sock. Immigrated to the US about 1875. Occupation: Farmer. Information from the "Nance County Journal" based at Fullerton, NE. When he first married they moved to Colorado to homestead for 2 years, then moved back to Nebr. 6 miles west of Krakow near the Loup River to farm, and lived in a sod house. Because his favorite expression was "by Ginger," he was nicknamed that for the rest of his life.
