Oct 1848 in PA) was living at Webster County, Nebraska with wife Emma (b. Apr 1873 in KS) and three children: Lesley, Milton and George D. (all born in Nebraska). John was listed in the 1890 Webster County index as a saloon keeper in the city of Red Cloud. A John S. Rothrock married Eldora Crepps (b. c1863 at Pittsburg, PA) on 22 Nov 1884 at Webster County, Nebraska. Was this a wife in between Martha and Emma? After Stroup died, Emma remarried to Thomas M.
