John Thomas “Jack” Wright, son of Yale and Helen Hausen Wright, was born August 9, 1930 at Stanton, Iowa and passed away April 16, 1992 at his home in Villisca. Jack graduated from Kemper Military School in 1948 and also attended two year s of College at Kemper. He had worked at Community Gas in Villisca since high school, retiring in 1989. Jack had served as a fireman for Villisca Fire Department for 23 years and had been in the National Guard for 17 years. On March 1, 1952, Jack was married to Mary “Joanne” King of Villisca. He is survived by his wife, Joanne, Villisca, Iowa; three children, Mars. Randy (Peggy) Jackson, Villisca, Tom Wright, Villisca, and Dennis Wright, Folsom, California; eight grandchildren, Matt and Jenny Jackson; Jeff, Daniel, Dylan, and Emma Wright; and Amanda and Jordan Wright. Jack was noted for his memory of events, figures, account which led to many serious discussions with family, friends, and customers.
