JOHN WILLIAM BOLEY DIES John William Boley was born in Files County Virginia, January 22, 1875 and passed away at his home near Rock Creek, February 26, 1928 after a week's illness from pneumonia. JOHN WILLIAM BOLEY DIES John William Boley was born in Files County Virginia, January 22, 1875 and passed away at his home near Rock Creek, February 26, 1928 after a week's illness from pneumonia. He came to Kansas with his parents in 1885 when about ten years of age and settled near Severance in Doniphan County. He moved near Sabetha with his parents about 1893. He was married February 8, 1915, to Miss Frances Stewart. In 1918 he purchased the place on which he resided at the time of his death. He with his wife were united with the Church of the Brethren, November 14, 1927, although he was a member but a short time he enjoyed his religion very much and availed himself of the opportunity of attending services whenever possible. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Mrs. Frances Boley, two sisters, Mrs. Oliver Cashman of Holton, Kan. and Mrs. C. W. Robinson of Enid, Okla., also 13 nieces and nephews. From a family of eight children, three sisters and two brothers have preceded him in death. Besides these relatives he leaves a host of friends and neighbors who will miss a kind neighbor and a helpful friend.
