He was born in Washington County to Fred and Julia Grant Corbin. Mr. Corbin joined the U. S. Air Force and served at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. where he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1967. He was born in Washington County to Fred and Julia Grant Corbin. Mr. Corbin joined the U. S. Survivors include his devoted wife of 65 years, Alma Sapp Corbin of Marianna, two sons; John Corbin and wife Gabby of Tallahassee, Mark Corbin and wife Candy of Marianna, one daughter, Peggy Ann Chapman and husband Raymond of Marianna; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; two sister Madeline Pippin of Chipley and Murlene Smith of Alford. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at East Side Baptist Church in Marianna with Pastor Jon Rollyson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until time of service. Interment will follow the funeral in Salem Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
