Read More	Traer Star Clipper, Friday, September 2nd, 1932 page 9 Following an illness of several weeks, Mrs. Josephine Kosnar, Chelsea pioneer resident, passed away at her home in Chelsea at 5 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, August 23, 1932. Mrs. Kosnar was born Josephine Fritch, in Bohemia, on March 9, 1859. At the time of her death, she had reached the age of 73 years, 5 months and 14 days. She came to this country in her girlhood and was united in marriage to Joseph Kosnar on April 9, 1883. Mr. and Mrs. Kosnar settled on a farm in the Chelsea vicinity and farmed for several years. They then came to Chelsea community where they lived until Mr. Kosnar's death, which was about three years ago. Mrs. Kosnar was a member of the Catholic church. She attended church regularly, gaining much peace from her religious activities. She was a kind, loving mother and was loved by all that knew her. She leaves to mourn her death two sons, namely Louis Kosnar, of Chelsea, Charles Kosnar, of Chelsea; and a daughter, Mrs. Emma Skarda, of Elberon. She also leaves three grandchildren, Milvoy and Helen Kosnar and Milvoy Skarda. Funeral services were held this Thursday morning from the St, Joseph Catholic church in Chelsea, with the Rev. Father W. F. Panek officiating. Interment was in the St. Joseph's cemetery.
