When the physician called, within an hour after the friend had left the house, and found Mr. Dischner dead in his bed. He was born in Indiana, August 28, 1872, and came to Platte county with his parents a few years later, and had since made his home here. Sixteen years ago he was married to Miss Mary Liebig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Liebig, living near Platte Center, who, with two sons and three daughters, survives him. He also leaves three brothers, John and Peter Dischner, of this community and Frank Dischner, of O'Neill. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Bonaventure's church, and interment was made in the parish cemetery.
