Screams Attract Neighbors Hearing the shot, the victim's wife, Mary E. Gribling, ran to where he had fallen. Her sreams attrated neighbors and Ball's ambulance was called from Sunnyside after a Grandview doctor and Wallace B. Tow, Grandview Marshall, had been summond. Giving the opinion that despondency and domestic trouble was the cause of the shooting, Ball said the notes found in Gribling's pockets were vague and in some ways unintelligible. Coroner to Investigate One note was addressed to the widow and her two-month old son, James, and the other was written to gribling's mother, Mrs. Jane Gribling, and a sister. The Gribling family formerly lived in Sunnyside. The victim's father died a year ago. State highway patrolmen made a preliminary investigation of the shooting last night, and Dr. W. H. Carver, county coroner, said futher inquiry will be made today. Walter C. Ball & Sons has charge of the body.
