Serving as pallbearers were Philip Schlentz, Bill Styskal, John Lorenz, Ted Kovar, Fred Hahn and Adolph Oehme. Mr. Kovar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ignac Kovar, was born in David City, August 30, 1877. He lived in the David City community all of his life and was engaged in farming. He was a member of the Catholic Church. On August 10, 1911, he was married to Theresa Farrell at the Saint Francis church. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Frohner, Omaha; two sons, Thomas, Venezuela, South America and Howard Kovar, David City; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Lorenz, David City and Mrs Frank Styskal, Exeter; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1953 and a son Kenneth in 1956, one brother and five sisters. Among those attending the services were Mrs. Frank Styskal and Bill Styskal of Exeter, and Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Frohner, Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. John Lorenz and Ted Kovar and son Daniel, all of Omaha.
