Joseph Frank Holterman Freeburg resident dies at 81 Joseph Frank Holterman, 81, of Route 1 Freeburg, died Sunday, May 10, 1987 at a Jefferson City hospital. He was born June 26, 1905 at Koeltztown to Ferdinand and Angela Hagenhoff Holterman. He was married May 27, 1929, to Louise Zeilman, who died Aug. 25, 1937. He was remarried Sept. 14, 1938, to Catherine Maria Falter, who survives at the home. A farmer, he was a member of Holy Family Church at Freeburg, Western Catholic Union and Knights of Columbus Council 1171 at Westphalia. Other survivors include two sons, Joseph Holterman jr. and Cletus Holterman, both of Freeburg; three daughters, Viola Luebbert of Loose Creek, Delrose Holterman Budnik of Morrison, and Eileen Luethen of Jefferson City; three brothers, Liborious Holterman of Westphalia and Fred Holterman and John Holterman, both of Freeburg; a sister, Elizabeth Otto of Koeltztown; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. An infant son preceded him in death. Services were to be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Church by the Rev. Sylvester Bauer. Burial was to be in the parish cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Holy Family Church or a Charity of the donor's choice.
