Description	:	OBITUARY - Joseph H. Rombeck, 71, Union Pacific employee here from 1943 to 1946, died Friday, December 14, 1962, at 11 p.m. at Mary Lanning Memorial hospital, Hastings, Neb. He had been in failing health the past six months and had entered St. Joseph's Memorial hospital, Omaha, Neb., October 4, where he remained a patient until December 4 when he was transferred to the Mary Lanning hospital. Read More	OBITUARY - Joseph H. Rombeck, 71, Union Pacific employee here from 1943 to 1946, died Friday, December 14, 1962, at 11 p.m. at Mary Lanning Memorial hospital, Hastings, Neb. He had been in failing health the past six months and had entered St. Joseph's Memorial hospital, Omaha, Neb., October 4, where he remained a patient until December 4 when he was transferred to the Mary Lanning hospital. A retired railway freight clerk, he had lived with his family in Hastings since 1947 when he was transferred there from the local office. Funeral services were held Monday, December 17 at St. Cecilia's Catholic church in Hastings with the Rev. Monsigner M.C. Grogan officiating at the Solemn Requiem High Mass. Rosary was recited at the Butler-Volland chapel Sunday night. Interment was in St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery, Marysville. He is survived by his wife, Vera sons Albert C. Rombeck, Yucaipa, Calf; Clarence J. Rombeck, Cheyenne, Wy.; Gerald R. Rombeck, Billings, Mont; Daughters, Mrs. Larry Mullen, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Fred Meyer, Jr., Sargent, Neb.; brothers, John Rombeck, San Bernadino, Calif.; David Rombeck, Red Key, Ind.; Lawrence Rombeck, Frankfort; and sisters Mrs. Ella Schneider, Saline; Mrs. Mamie Hedge, Hoxie; Mrs. Thomas Ryan and Miss Frances Rombeck, Frankfort; also seven grandchildren. --- First marriage: Marie K.
