Description	:	JOSEPH H. STUBBINS SUCCUMBED SUNDAY Joseph H. Stubbins, well-known decorator, died Sunday at his home on Maryland avenue after several weeks illness of influenza. Death was from pneumonia. He was 41 years of age. Mr. Stubbins was the son of the late Jefferson D. Stubbins, who died several months ago, and Mrs. Ruth Stubbins, of Baltimore, who survives him. He was born at Pocomoke City, but moved to Crisfield with his parents when only three years old. He was known as one of the best interior decorators in this section. He had many friends who mourn his passing. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ruth Stubbins, of Baltimore, his widow, Mrs. Miriam M. Stubbins, the former Miss Ruth Somers, of Crisfield, two daughters, Mrs. Herman Smith, of Washington, D. C., Miss Joyce Stubbins, of Crisfield, and two sons, Joseph H. Stubbins, Jr., and Robert Stubbins, both of Crisfield. One sister, Mrs. Carrie Hardgrave, and one brother, Mr. Frank Stubbins, both of Baltimore, also survive. Funeral services were held from the home of his father-in-law, Mr. Lewis Somers, on Myrtle avenue, Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. C. M. Elderdice, pastor of Mount Pleasant M. P. Church. Pall bearers were Willard Laird, J. N. Bell, Maurice Sterling, Clinton Marshall, J. Norman Bell and Clarence Byrd. Interment was in Crisfield cemetery.
