Read More	Joseph Martin Is Laid To Rest (newspaper clipping-unknown source and date) "The funeral of Joseph Martin who died Wednesday morning of last week, was held at the M.E. Church in Wolbach on Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J.R. Hamilton. The death of Mr. Martin marks the passing of one more of the early pioneers of Greeley county. He and his family came to this county over 40 years ago. His many sterling qualities won for Mr. Martin the respect of all who knew him in this community. He was making his home with his son Clarence, south of Wolbach at the time of his death. Joseph Martin was born at Washington, Iowa, January 29, 1852 and departed this life December 24, 1930, at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 25 days. On June 10, 1875, he was united in marriage to Mary McKeeman at Allerton, Iowa. To this union was born 9 children. Mr. Martin lived four years in Iowa after his marriage then moving to Kansas for 11 years then to Greeley County, Nebr., in 1890. Mrs. Martin, his wife, and two daughters preceded him to the great beyond. He leaves to mourn his loss seven children, Mrs. Lambert of Vista, Calif., Robert of Arnold, Nebr., William of Ainsworth, Iowa; Clarence of Wolbach; Frank of Denver, Colo.; and Wilbert of Wolbach. Also 27 grand children and 4 great grand children, 2 sisters, and a host of friends.
