Description	:	Joe Moser Funeral Rites Held Sunday Military funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon for Joe Moser, who died at his home in Creighton Friday morning. The rites were held at the Methodist church with the Rev. J.R. Rayborne officiating. Burial was at Greenwood cemetery, with a firing squad of American Legion and VFW members taking part. Mr. Moser was a veteran of WWI and served 22 months in Europe. He had been in poor health for the past two and a half years, suffering from a heart ailment that kept him at home most of the time. Joseph Moser was born in Boone county, Nebraska, Sept. 1, 1876 and was 69 years of age at the time of his death. He spent the early part of his life on farms in Knox and Antelope counties. He later was employed by a railroad until he joined the army. On March 17, 1926 he was united in marriage to Anna Sanders. Surviving are his wife, two brothers, Chris Moser of Clearwater and F.B. Moser of Creighton and many other relatives. Pallbearers, all WWI Veterans, were Francis Crisp, Austin King, Paul J. Wegner, Otto Balleweg, Troy Stingley and Henry Sebade. Those from out of town attending the funeral were Mrs. Rudolph Schultz of Dallas, S.D.; Misses Cora and Mabel Mewies and Herman Porepp of Sioux City, Ia.; George Brandt of Waterloo, Ia.; John Bellar of Tilden; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Holtman of Meadow Grove; Calvin York of Clearwater; E.O.
