Description	:	The Valley Falls New Era Thursday August 12, 1915 Obituary Joseph Way The body of Joseph Way who died in the General hospital at Kansas City last Sunday morning of pulmonary tuberculosis, was brought to Valley Falls Monday for burial in the Farrar cemetery. Accompanying the body were his sisters Mrs. Virginia I. Vail of Versailes, Mo., and Mary E. Baughman and daughter, Elizabeth; and Albert Meyers and wife of Kansas City. Carpenter conducted brief services at the grave and the body was laid to rest by the side of his parents and brother, Jeff Way. Joseph Way was born near White Church, Wyandotte county, Kansas, June 1, 1869, and died at Kansas City, Mo, August 6, 1915, aged 46 years, 2 months and 5 days. He was the youngest son of J.R. and Margaret Way who lived near Rock Creek a number of years, locating there from over in Jackson county in 1885. For sixteen years Joseph had lived with his sister, Mary E. Baughman at Kansas City, Mo., where he worked at the carpenter trade. He was never married.
