Murphy, 8 Obituary for Sarah(Eagle) Siron. Highland Recorder November 16, 1906 Mrs. Sarah Siron, the aged mother of Mr. Joseph Siron, died at the home of her son at Siron's Mill on Tuesday morning. She was about. 90 years of age. Highland Recorder November 23, 1906 Mrs. Sarah Siron, an aged lady of McKendree neighborhood fell asleep. She had reached the age of 85 and had been a consistent member of the Methodist church for 20 years, and died in the triumph,of a living faith in jesus. She was the mother of six children, five of whom survive her, four being present at her funeral. Funeral services were conducted in McKendree church on Wednesday by her pastor, Rev. H. M. Roane assisted by Rev. Mr. Young, of the Presbyterian church. After the service her body was laid to rest in the McKendree cemetery. The large concourse of people who came to pay their last tribute of respect, attested to the esteem in which she was held.
