Description	:	J. Victor Krob, 93, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Rowley, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, at Solon Care Center, Solon, following a short illness. He was born May 24, 1915, in Ely, son of Frank Joseph and Libbie Zvacek Krob. He married Edna Marie Foust on Aug. 16, 1938, in Des Moines. She preceded him in death in 2004. He graduated from high school in 1933 in Ely and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was owner and operator of the grain elevator in Rowley, retiring in 1978. Survived by: a son, Larry J. of Solon; a daughter, Karen (William) Underhill of Meyersdale, Pa.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Phillips of Michigan and Doris Buresh of San Diego; and a brother, Norbert of Bradenton, Fla. Preceded in death by: a brother, Robert. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at White Funeral Home, Independence, with burial in Rowley Cemetery, Rowley. Public visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where there will be a 5 p.m. military service and a 5:30 p.m. Masonic service. Memorial fund: has been established.
