Description	:	Mrs. Henry Penrod of Sycamore, Ill. died Sunday of injuries received in an automobile accident at Fort Dodge last Tuesday. Mrs. Penrod was a sister of Lewis Brucker and was returning home after attending the funeral of another brother, Julius Brucker at Ida Grove, Dec. 10. Penrod was born on December 17, 1879, in Sac county, Iowa and died December 19, 1953 at the Lutheran hospital in Fort Dodge at the age of seventy four years and two days. She was the daughter of Fredrick and Henrietta Brucker, and spent her childhood days near Arthur, Iowa. On January 24, 1900, she was united in marriage to Henry E. Penrod and to this union were born two sons: Everett of Sycamore, Ill. and Fred of Fulda, Minn. The first twenty five years of their marriage was spent in and around Arthur. In October 1927 they moved to Sycamore, Ill. where they have since resided. She was a member of the First Methodist church of Sycamore and the Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her father and mother and brother Julius. Surviving are her husband, two sons, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also two brothers, Fred of the State of Washington, Lewis of Odebolt, and two sisters, Mrs. Rosina Compton of Arthur and Mrs. Louise Alderson of Schaller.
