Description	:	Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Sutphen Funeral Home for Charles N. Fessler, 84, who died at his home here on Tuesday, December 15. Interment was in the Villisca Cemetery. fThe Rev. E. M. Buehler was in charge of the services and music was by Mrs. Grace Nordyke and Mrs. Maude Scott. Pall bearers were C. G. Fessler was born in Eddyville, Iowa, on October 24, 1858 and came to Villisca with is parents on March 29, 1884. He was first employed here as a salesman, later becoming the owner of the funeral home. He retired from business many years ago. In April 13, 1887, he was married to Miss Josephine E. Maurer of Indiana who preceded him in death in 1932. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Louise McDoo, Hamburg, and Mrs. H. A. Shiffer, Villisca and one brother, W. E. Fessler, Villisca.
