Description	:	Funeral services were held Thursday, August 25, at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian church for Mrs. Josie McClintic, who passed away at the Schaller Rest Home August 23, where she had made her home the past few months. Services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. G.G. Nusbaum. Favorite hymns were sung by Mrs. Oren Rininger, accompanied on the organ by Marilyn Hogue. Mrs. Charles Hogue and Mrs. James Schmidt were in charge of the flowers. Interment was in the Schaller cemetery under direction of Farber & Otteman funeral home. Josephine Kathryn Wehde McClintic, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wehde Sr., was born at Holstein on February 27, 1885, and passed away at the age of 75 years, 5 months, and 26 days. As a child she was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. In 1898 she with her parents moved to the Schaller community. On December 9, 1903, she was united in marriage to Elmer McClintic. This union was blessed with seven children. They are William McClintic of Spirit Lake, Delma Botel of Hartley, Esther Imhoff of May City, Frank and Harry of Schaller, Samuel, who passed in 1932, and another son who died in infancy. Her husband preceded her in death in 1949. She lived most of her life in and around Schaller, with the exception of a few years at Hartley, later moving back to Schaller where she spent her remaining years. She was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian church and Ladies' Aid, always willing to help when needed, as long her health permitted. She is survived by her five children, 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren., one sister Mrs. Elsie Seek, two brothers, Harry and Charles, all of Schaller and a host of other relatives and friends.
