They were the parents of Bette, Janice, Mary, Sherie, Pat, Jane, Larry, Gary, Terry, and Jack. June 7, 1982 - Carroll Daily Times Herald - Mrs. Lawrence (Josephine) Siepker, 63, of 218 West Second street, died Friday, June 4, after a year's illness. She had been a cook for 15 years at Kuemper High School. Mass of the Christian Burial will be concelebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, at Holy Spirit church with the Revs. Thomas Geelan and Roger Augustine, V.F., as concelebrants. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be nephews: Merlin Loew, Don Sturm, Larry Potthoff, Duane Siepker, Bill Schrad and Jeff Siepker. A scriptural prayer service was conducted at the Twit Funeral Home in Carroll at 8 p.m. Sunday and a rosary was recited at 8:45 p.m. Sunday. Rosaries on Monday will be recited at 3 p.m. and at 8 p.m. by the Legion of Mary. Mrs. Siepker is survived by the following children: Mrs. Roger B. (Bette) Snyder, Breda; Mrs. Ken (Janice) Snyder, Breda; Mrs. Gary (Mary) Rutten, Fort Dodge; Larry, Glendale, Ariz.; Jack, Eagle, Colo.; Gary, Knoxville; Mrs. Bruce (Pat) Jensen, Carroll; Mrs. Cliff (Jane) Olson, Carroll; Terry, Mount Carmel and Cherie, Carroll; sisters Lucy Beckman, Carroll; Anna Hermsen, Omaha; Mary Harrison, Sioux City; and Liz Sturm, Carroll; four stepbrothers, three stepsisters and 23 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence on August 27, 1978; parents, two sisters: Agnes Loew and Clara Feld; half brothers Jake, Matt, Steve and Nick Loew. Mrs. Siepker was born January 15, 1919, at Maple River, a daughter of Steve and Anna Schulte Loew. She was married to Lawrence Siepker October 12, 1938, at St. Francis church, Maple River, by the Rev. Meyer. She received her education at St. Francis school in Maple River. She was a member of Holy Spirit Women's Guild.
