Description	:	She was raised by Miriam (Prescott) Willoughby and was living with the family in 1860 when she was age 8. Her father was reported to have been one of the sons of Sylvester Prescott killed in the Civil War, however I could not verify by record. Her birth record was recreated in 1906 under the name Luella Josephine Prescott born Dec 26, 1851 and her father's name was given as Greenleaf J. Prescott but I could not confirm that. She did live with Greenleaf born about 1800 and her Aunt Mariam Willoughby ... Read More	She was raised by Miriam (Prescott) Willoughby and was living with the family in 1860 when she was age 8. Her birth record was recreated in 1906 under the name Luella Josephine Prescott born Dec 26, 1851 and her father's name was given as Greenleaf J. Prescott but I could not confirm that. She did live with Greenleaf born about 1800 and her Aunt Mariam Willoughby born about 1829 and Miriam's sons Daniel and Allen B. Willoughby in 1870 in Holderness. Her name on stone appears to read Josephine, birth name may have been Luella Josephine. Luella's father died and she was not raised by her birth mother and was essentially an orphan from an early age and was raised by her father's half-sister and other family members. She married Owen Maurice Roberts in 1874 and resided in New York. Luella did not have children. Her husband died 1910. She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Rochester New York (Christian Scientist). She was last enumerated in the New York State Census in 1925 in Rochester. She was age 64 and widowed. Luella died Feb 24. 1930 in Rochester New York where she had resided for over 40 yrs. Her death was recorded on the New York death register as Louella J. Roberts, no parents given.
