Tuesday morning in Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, where she had been for the past two months. The end was not unexpected as her ailments failed to yield to treatment. Josephine Wolrab was born in Linn county near Cedar Rapids on March 27th, 1865 and grew to young womanhood in that county. On March 3rd, 1886 she was united in marriage to Antone Bobinet and the couple moved onto a farm four miles northwest of Belle Plaine where they continued to reside until two years ago when they retired and came to Belle Plaine to make their home. Eight children, seven daughters and a son, were born to this couple and all of them with the aged husband are left to mourn the loss of a devoted mother and wife, one who had given the best years of her life for them. They are: Mrs. Francis Bartachek of Belle Plaine; Mrs. Agnes Bellharz of Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Emma Dolash of Belle Plaine; Mrs. Charles Dvorak of Belle Plaine; Mrs. Marie Zeller of Tama; Mrs. Harriet Sikir of Belle Plaine and William A. Bobinet, also of Belle Plaine. There are also surviving, thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. For several years Mrs. Bobinet had been in poor health, and it was largely due to the condition of her health that she and Mr. Bobinet retired from the farm and came to Belle Plaine to live.
