Description	:	Josie Cheek 'Joey' Ellis, 77, of Calhoun Falls, wife of the late Jimmie Lee Ellis, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Hospice House in Greenwood. She was born in Social Circle, GA to the late Albert C. and Josie Norris Cheek. Mrs. Ellis worked at the Rocky River Plant and was also a pest control technician. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jarrett Ellis, and ten brothers and sisters. Read More	Josie Cheek 'Joey' Ellis, 77, of Calhoun Falls, wife of the late Jimmie Lee Ellis, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Hospice House in Greenwood. She was born in Social Circle, GA to the late Albert C. and Josie Norris Cheek. Mrs. Ellis worked at the Rocky River Plant and was also a pest control technician. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jarrett Ellis, and ten brothers and sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah E. Scott, of Anderson; two sisters, Margaret C. Rast, and her husband, Billy, of North, SC and Margie C. Edenfield and her husband, Bruce, of Pahrump, NV; two very special grandsons, Jason Sutherland of Calhoun Falls and Brandon Sutherland and his wife, Cissy, of Abbeville; a great-granddaughter, Crystal Renee Sutherland; and a special friend, Steve Bartlett, of Plum Branch. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Harris Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 AM in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Wendell Rhodes officiating. The family is at the home.
