Description	:	Joyce is the daughter of Raymond & Velma Miller She grew up in Yutan, NE., with her younger sisters. Joyce met the love of her life, Clarence William Eikenbary Jr., in high school and they were married on December 16-1954. They traveled to Europe settling in Germany where Ike was stationed while he was in the service. They moved back to Omaha and started a family. Joyce attended Nebraska Wesleyan College and was an active member of Delta Zeta Sorority. She later graduated from the University of Omaha with a degree in teaching. Joyce met the love of her life, Clarence William Eikenbary Jr., in high school and they were married on December 16-1954. Joyce attended Nebraska Wesleyan College and was an active member of Delta Zeta Sorority. She later graduated from the University of Omaha with a degree in teaching. She enjoyed music and played the accordion and the piano. She also enjoyed square dancing. A long time teacher with District 66 and Omaha Public Schools. Here she started English as a Second Language program for students of other cultures new to the U.S. She was passionate about education and received the Delta Zeta Sorority 50 years membership award. She was also active in her Sunday School at Bethel Lutheran Church, for decades.
