Description	:	Joyce E. Jacobson, 91, of Waverly, Iowa passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly. Joyce Edith Jacobson was born on June 23, 1925, the daughter of Harry and Elsie (Relswech) Eddie in Wayne, Nebraska. On December 26, 1946, she was united in marriage to Clifford Jacobson in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Joyce worked in a bakery plant in Omaha, Nebraska when she was younger. Jacobson, 91, of Waverly, Iowa passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly. Joyce Edith Jacobson was born on June 23, 1925, the daughter of Harry and Elsie (Relswech) Eddie in Wayne, Nebraska. On December 26, 1946, she was united in marriage to Clifford Jacobson in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Joyce worked in a bakery plant in Omaha, Nebraska when she was younger. Cliff and Joyce did a lot a lot of traveling with construction companies. They would later purchase a farm in rural Waverly in 1967, where Joyce continued to live there until entering the Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in May of this year. She enjoyed farming, cooking and loved all animals, especially cats. Survivors are: her four grandchildren, Justin Tuitjer, Adam Jacobson, and Melissa and Melinda Jacobson; a daughter-in-law, Kathy (James) Thompson. She was preceded in death by: her husband; parents; two sons, Bobby and Rod Jacobson; and a brother, Jimmy. There will be no formal services, per Joyce's request her body had been cremated. Inurnment will be at a later date in Harlington Cemetery in Waverly, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family and online condolences may be left at www.kaisercorson.com.
