Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, William; parents, Hester and Andrew Brown; brothers, Gene and Andrew Brown. Mrs. Chancey was born August 4, 1925, in Charleston, WV. She married William Chancey on August 16, 1958 and moved to Wilmington, Ohio in April, 1968 when her husband was transferred to Clinton County Air Force Base. Mrs. Chancey has been an active member of the Ralph K. Shrine since 1969 serving in many capacities to include Worthy High Priestess; Amaranth Charity Court; Daughters of the Nile, Past Queen's Club; Beta Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi; International Association of Administrative Professionals; Order of the Eastern Star, Ripley WV Chapter; Clinton County Ladies Oriental Shrine Club, and Daughters of the American Revolution. Funeral arrangements: Visitation at Littleton's Funeral Home, Sabina, OH; Christian Funeral Service with Rev. James M. Wedig officiating, at Littleton's Funeral Home, with graveside burial at Fairplain Cemetery, Ripley, WV. Published in the Dayton Daily News on 1/26/2011
